A Coastal Little Girls Room

Good day! We are having a ball over here designing the cutest coastal girls room.

The Goals for the Project:

  1. Creating a timeless bedroom that the little girl can love for many years to come.
  2. Achieving the fun, coastal feel without going overtop, cheeseball.
  3. Creating special “moments” in the room that are inviting.

This has been an absolute blast and the client is the sweetest. My favorite thing is to see the vision of the client and bring it to life.

Here is a sneak peek into the initial design of the project.

The client has some fun pieces we are incorporating into the design. The vintage shipwreck, treasure map was the inspiration for the colors. She also has a fun peacock chair and vintage vanity we are incorporating into the space.

The wallpaper is my favorite! There is something magical about wallpaper in a space….it just draws you in. Another favorite for a little girls room, the daybed with the trundle. It is perfect for future sleepovers.

The vintage vanity and peacock chair add character to the space. What little girl doesn’t love sitting at a vanity “getting ready”? We are layering textures with a soft velvet chair cushion, throw pillows, and a cute upholstered vanity chair.

We opted to leave the closet open with the future option to put doors on the closet. I really love the openness it creates in the space and acts more like a built-in than a closet. So much storage here for all the things.

Excited to start the construction phase for this project! I will keep you in the loop and share the final reveal in the near future!

As always, thank you for taking the time to read my blog! If you ever need help with a project, please reach out!
